Arts Certificate
The BuildaBridge Institute awards a Certification in Restorative Arts upon successful completion and demonstration of skills in arts-based transformation. The Restorative Arts Certification provides entry-level creative practitioners the opportunity to learn and be recognized for his/her education, knowledge, and professional expertise working in the fields of education, social services, community development and service.
By joining the Restorative Arts Certification program you are making a one to two-year commitment as a Restorative Arts Apprentice. During the time of the apprenticeship you will complete:

A successful final project in your community or area of service under the guidance of an assigned Restorative Arts Coach

An online skills portfolio (See example here)

A certification examination
During the apprenticeship the candidate agrees to work within an approved single community or organization of his or her choice as a focus for the skills project of the certification project. The candidate is supported by an approved sponsor from that community or organization. The sponsor supports the student through advice, networks, and practical service opportunities.
